Rock Climbing: Squamish Apron Climbing & Lunch

The iconic Apron is a huge slab of low angle granite that leads partway up the famous Chief in Squamish, BC. At the top of the Apron is an amazing lookout, called the Memorial Ledge, features view of the Howe Sound, Tantalus Range and of course the Squamish valley.

Rock Climbing: The Picturesque Star Chek

Star ChekJoin one of our professional, ACMG certified guides for a guided rock climbing adventure on the picturesque Star Chek. Listed as one of the Top 100 climbs in the valley, Star Chek is an amazing climb that ascends a well featured granite wall above the raging Cheakamus river.

SquamishEver wanted to climb the iconic Stawamus Chief? Towering over 700m above the waters of the Howe Sound it features amazing views of the surrounding mountains and amazing climbing. With various climbing routes up the large granite monolith, some as easy as 5.9, there’s sure to be a route that captures your imagination.

This program is designed as a Tour-de-Force of the Squamish Selects’ Top 100 climbs. Choose a weekend that works well with your schedule and one of our professional ACMG certified guides will take you up some of the best rock climbing routes around Squamish.


Alpine: Best of the Bugaboos

Classic routes, aesthetic granite lines, stunning summits, majestic glaciers: The Bugaboos have it all. The area is also home to two of the famous ’50 Classic Climbs of North America’: The uber classic NE Ridge of Bugaboo Spire (5.8) and the iconic Beckey-Chouinard route on South Howser Tower (5.10c). We’ve been heading into the Bugaboos every year for almost a decade and the place still calls us back!

Alpine: Tantalus Provincial Park Mountaineering

TantalusUsing the picturesque Haberl Hut as a base of operations this helicopter accessed alpine climbing and mountaineering adventure has it all: Granite spires, long ridges, beautiful glaciers, ocean views, cell service and a BBQ. Trips typically run from Friday to Sunday allowing you get 2 full days of alpine climbing and mountaineering in over the weekend!

Alpine: Blackcomb Buttress:

Lift Accessed Alpine Climbing on Blackcomb Buttress! Blackcomb ButtressA short walk from the top of the ski lift this alpine ridge offers great views of the area’s glaciers, lakes and mountains. The route has climbing in the 5.4 range, a roomy summit and an easy walk back down to the lift for a ride back to the valley. A very civilized and fun way to spend a day in Whistler!

Alpine: Mt. Wedge & Mt. Weart:

Wedge Mountain

At 2895m the aptly named Wedge Mountain is the highest summit in the Garibaldi Ranges and, of course, Garibaldi Park. If you’ve ever been to Whistler you have undoubtedly seen this towering peak. What you haven’t seen is the beautiful lakes and glaciers that hide on it’s northern flanks or the amazing summit views.

Alpine: Mt. Assiniboine


On a clear day the iconic Mt. Assiniboine is visible from all over the SE corner of BC as it towers over the adjacent peaks. Reminiscent of the Matterhorn, the majestic peak doesn’t offer an easy scramble to the top! The most common route is up the North Ridge, this 3,000ft feature is steep and intimidating but not too technically difficult.


Ice Climbing: Bella Coola Ice Safari

The Bella Coola valley on the west coast of British Columbia offers a mind boggling spectrum of largely unclimbed ice. While basing ourselves out of a lodge in this beautiful rural community we’ll embark on daily adventures into the local mountains. First selecting and scouting some amazing new routes then planning, climbing and finally naming them.
