Summer’s here and so’s the annual Arc’teryx Climbing Academy! If you haven’t been to one of these events yet you’ll definitely want to check it out. It’s based out of Squamish BC where you can find world class granite climbing without even leaving town. The event takes place August 22nd to 25th but registration is open as of May 15 and events and clinics book up fast so don’t procrastinate.

This year’s line-up looks fantastic with clinics on everything from aid climbing to bouldering, alpine climbing to alpine running, photography to canyoneering and big wall climbing to backcountry first aid!  Educational seminars and clinics are being taught by an amazing line-up of athletes including Jonathan Siegrist, Will Stanhope, Katie Bono, Jesse Huey, Jon Walsh, Adam Campbell, Paul McSorley, Will Gadd, Ines Papert, Ben Rueck, Vikki Weldon, Jen Olson and more.  There’s also a live presentations (yep, Lynn Hill is giving one!!), food, yoga, live music and a trade show with brands such as Arc’teryx, Scarpa, DMM, Camp USA and more. One of the event sponsors is Backcountry Brewing, that’s gotta be good right!
